Chatroulette

There are many things in this world that capture peoples interests. One of these just came out last November. Its name is Chatroulette. It is where you can video chat with anyone anywhere randomly. You don't have to know the person or anything. You can either right them or if you have a mic in your computer talk to them. If you don't want to talk to the person or are finished talking to them just hit next. It takes you to the next person. The with problem chatroulette is, there is a lot of junk showing. If you can go through 10 people without seeing someone whacking off you are doing really well, but the next time you get nexted or hit next I bet you'll get some dudes junk.

Recently the advertising agencies have started to use their brand characters on the site. The Burger King has popped up as well as the Travelocity Gnome. Will this work or will it fail. I don't see how this wouldn't be able to help I mean they are giving links so the person on the other end can get what they are selling or the coupon. I think this well be a hot new thing for a while.

Good move by CP+B. I think they were the first to put their product on it with the king. Thought of it before you did it though. Even though it doesn't count cause I didn't do it. I thought of it though.

Nothing really to do.

Since I last pitched an idea to a client there has been nothing for me to do so far. Oh by the way I did get a job a couple months ago and I am now in Dallas Texas at an agency called Tribal DDB. It has been really good so far. I had to hit the ground running and ended up getting some road burn on me but I am finally settled and officially ready to rock.

This is funny

This is Southpark's teaser for the new episode that is coming out this week. I really want to watch it because of the other video that I have posted on here. Ever since they made fun of Gingers (red heads) people this kid has been on a tirade. Now that they have made fun of him just makes it so much better. It's funny to think that this kid thinks he can change peoples viewing habits by boycotting Southpark. He basically calls for everyone who is offended by the show not to watch it. Really dumb-ass. You don't think the people that are already offended are still watching the show? Do you really think you are the guy that will lead all of the gingers to victory and away from ridicule? Come on man. Keep making videos because they are great to make fun of but stop thinking that people watch your shit because they agree with you. They are watching to make fun of you.

SNL is finally going to be good again, well not really just this week.

Last week sucked completely, Jennifer Yopez sucks at everything she does and should give up. At least the show is still trying to be relevant, by bringing in funny people for once.

Words of wisdom

I like this guy.

Two down 13 left

I have finished ,The Road is written by Cormac McCarthy. I started reading this book on a recommendation of my mother who really enjoyed it.

This book is set in post apocalyptic times about a man and a boy. The earth has turned to ash and the people that are remaining are untrustworthy while the father and his boy try to go south to warmer pastures. Their story of survival is an interesting one. They try really hard to stay out of site of anyone by taking rests away from the road and hiding from people that pass by. Pushing a cart with all of their belongings they find it difficult to stay out of sight for too long.

More interesting to me is how it is written. It isn't written like a traditional book, where it has chapters and page after page of text. Everything is written in short simple paragraphs. They give you the point and a brief description without going super far into it. Cause it isn't a story about the end of the world but about a boy and his father. This made the book really quick and easy to read. Cause really there were no stopping points that you can put the book down. It's just paragraph after paragraph with no real stopping point.

One thing I didn't like about the book is that I had to go back on the diaolog and reread it to see who was talking when. You might find this crazy but he doesn't use he said the boy said too often. Which would get me confused. And when they would talk to a new character it made it even harder to follow.

Over all this book is just OK. Not worth making a movie out of it. I really think it is a stretch to make one but I am not hollywood. The writing style itself is the reason to read the book.
